Connecting Communities: How Organizations Create a Better Workplace through Giving

The technology piece of course is what isolved Giving & Volunteering is all about. There have been many hardships and pressures on the workforce but that does not mean we must lose our sense of togetherness. As one of the few solutions with the means to help employees express their desire to engage with each other — and their community — isolved is doing more than healing to solve a problem; they are giving the workforce the means to help each other.

isolved Acquires Givful: Giving and Receiving at the Same Time

This week’s news that isolved has acquired Givful shows a deep understanding of these needs of employers, employees and candidates. This acquisition gives isolved a lot of tools that help address the needs for connections within the organization and for people to feel better connected to their communities. This move also will have an impact on isolved customers feeling like their work is meaningful, which is a major component of attracting and retaining workers, regardless of where they physically do their job.

Planning for a Brighter Workplace and World

During a recent product briefing with isolved, they shared some thoughts on how they saw the post-COVID workplace and what it would mean for HR professionals. Although the briefing focused on enhancements to their products (which members can read here), it was this set of customer challenges that I wanted to expand on, as I think it might be useful. The list of challenges is below in bold and I’ll add my thoughts on each of these, as well, with relevant research.
