Delray Beach, FL – Dec. 10, 2013 — Brandon Hall Group today announced that Trish McFarlane will join the HCM research and advisory services firm on Jan. 6 as Vice President of the HR Practice.
Brandon Hall Group provides research-based services that provide insights around key business performance areas, including Learning and Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources.
McFarlane had been Director of Human Resources at IT consultant firm Perficient since 2012 and also held HR leadership roles at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Fleishman-Hillard and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a major influencer in HR as co-founder of the HRevolution learning and networking event, founder of HRingleader, co-founder of Women of HR, and as a global speaker on social media, human resources and communications.
In her new role at Brandon Hall Group, McFarlane will serve as principal analyst in HR technology, workforce planning, compliance, payroll, and benefits and will work with CEO Mike Cooke and VP of Product Development Claude Werder on expanding the HR Practice.
Cooke said McFarlane is the ideal person to expand the HR Practice because of her intimate knowledge of HR functions and technology and her exceptional networking, communication and collaboration skills.
“Trish has established a wide-reaching network within the HR world, from mid-level practitioners, to executives, to the vendor community,” Cooke said. “She has a rare ability to engage people, share her knowledge and learn from diverse people and communities. She is an excellent ambassador for HR – a champion of the profession and the people who work in it while challenging the status quo and advocating new thinking and practices. She is the ideal person to talk to the HR community on behalf of Brandon Hall Group.”
McFarlane said her decision to join Brandon Hall Group was based on the unique opportunity to work with the leading analyst firm in her field of expertise.
”As a career-long HR leader and influencer in the HR industry, I know that access to best-in-class research and expert advice are critical to making important business decisions in this daunting economic environment,” McFarlane said. “The work that Brandon Hall Group has done and continues to do in the learning and talent fields is unparalleled and the firm’s team of analysts and consultants is unmatched. In my new role, I will leverage my experience and expertise to lead Brandon Hall Group’s expanded research coverage into human resources management.
