February 20, 2013 – Mercer, a global consulting leader in talent, health, retirement and investments, and American Management Association (AMA), the world’s leading membership-based management development organization, have agreed to offer Mercer’s Workforce Analytics and Planning Workshop series to AMA’s members and customers.

This workshop series is designed to teach HR and corporate management how to effectively convert workforce data into meaningful insights through fact-based analytics and decision-making that will help their business succeed well into the future.

“While many organizations do a good job of collecting workforce data, most do not have the tools and expertise to turn that data into useful intelligence that can drive strategic business decisions,” said Orlando Ashford, President of Mercer’s Talent business. “We’re thrilled to work with such a well-regarded leader in enterprise learning solutions and be able to share our knowledge and expertise in this important area with AMA’s vast professional network.” Mercer’s one-day, highly interactive workshops focus on four key topics – driving business results with data, assembling a data engine, developing a workforce planning process and building a center of expertise – that convey how to fundamentally change the way workforce data influences decision-making and planning with respect to human capital.

“AMA is pleased to form this relationship with Mercer and offer this unique workshop series on workforce analytics to our members and customers,” said Edward T. Reilly, President and CEO of the American Management Association. “Mercer is an industry leader in the space and these workshops complement AMA’s growing portfolio of seminars, webcasts, research, and books specializing in the important field generally referred to as Big Data.”

Each of the workshops within the series is a stand-alone session and will be held at AMA’s Executive Conference Centers in various cities throughout the year:
