Heightening Cybersecurity to Protect IBM and Its Clients
With more cybersecurity attacks throughout the world, IBM took action to re-emphasize to employees that security precautions apply to them and they can’t forget simple rules that prevent breaches. To do so, IBM developed an eLearning course that would apply even to tech-savvy users and provide guidance, examples of threats, and consequences.
Building an Agile Workforce for Fast Growth at Tata
Tata Consultancy Services, a leading information technology company, found it needed to increase its own technological learning to help its workforce keep up with fast organizational growth and shorten the time for fulfilling customer requests. The TCS Talent Development Group collaborated with programmers, designers and others to develop eLearning that offers rich, fresh and relevant courses and often includes live labs and videos structured like TED talks.
Creating a New Definition of ‘Anytime, Anywhere ‘at Hindustan Unilever
Hindustan Unilever Limited, a fast-moving consumer goods company, sought to enhance its sales team that includes employees in remote areas where internet connectivity or access to computers is limited. Unilever turned to G-Cube, an eLearning solution provider, to develop an LMS with an interactive voice response (IVR) solution to assess sales personnel so they know what to study or what courses to take. The IVS and LMS can be accessed via cell phone or computer in seven languages used in India.
Enhancing the Experience of Affluent Bank Customers at Emirates NBD
Faced with customer dissatisfaction and high turnover and employee morale issues in its call center, Tanfeeth LLC designed a certification program to enhance hiring and development of priority banking agents, who deal with affluent customers of the banking group Emirates NBD. As a result, a customer satisfaction survey increased to 8.2 against a target of 7.5 on an external CSat 1- to 10-point evaluation, and fatal errors were reduced by 46%.
ELearning Reinforces Classroom Training at UnitedHealthcare
UnitedHealthcare had nearly completed training a core workforce for a move into a new state when there was a sudden change that expanded the Iowa Medicaid contract and delayed implementation. In response, the Learning Solutions team created an online training program to reinforce learning transfer, provide cross-team training, and give supervisors more responsibility to support learning.
Dish Network’s Playbook Drives New-Hire Proficiency, Lower Turnover
Dish Network developed a customer service model called the Playbook, which served as a foundation for its new-hire training program that stresses understanding customers’ purpose for contacting Dish, preventing future need for contact, and teaching ways to build brand loyalty. Analysis showed the new hires gain proficiency at a faster rate, and demonstrated more confidence in performing job functions. Because of this, new-hire attrition significantly decreased.
Creating a Perfect Patient Experience at Pacific Smiles
Pacific Smiles Group owns and operates 54 dental practices across the East Coast of Australia, and has been steadily growing over the last few years. Due to the geographic diversity of its centers, the organization needed to replace its face-to-face customer service training with a suite of five online courses to reduce training costs and provide training in a more flexible manner that minimizes business disruption.
Learntales’ Teaches Data Privacy Compliance at Cognizant
Cognizant’s urgent business need was to ensure the company had an effective learning solution that ensured compliance to the data security protocols being followed in the organization. The holistic learning experience was based on an innovative and engaging in-house strategy called Learntales. The strategy involved the use of stories to gain the learners’ attention on data privacy, train them seamlessly, and assess them based on their understanding.
