New Research Reports

Research Summary: Women in Leadership

This research summary provides the top findings of Brandon Hall Group’s 2016 Women in Leadership Study. Though interest in advancing women to C-level positions remains high, only 12% of organizations have achieved gender parity in C-level roles. The number one barrier is inadequate management of the leadership pipeline. Overall, 70% of companies have a C-suite with 25% or fewer women and only one-third of organizations have women being groomed for executive roles. The study also provides insights on strategies for improving gender parity in senior leadership roles.

KnowledgeGraphic: Getting the Right Blend of Learning Opportunities

As organizations seek to better align learning strategies with business outcomes, they increasingly are focusing on delivering experiences that occur outside the classroom, according to Brandon Hall Group’s 2016 Learning Strategy Study. High-performing organizations are more focused on offering blended learning experiences and are more effective at it.

The Evolution of Human Capital Technology: Empowerment for the Restaurant and Food Services Industry

As HCM technology evolves, it is moving from a place where people simply access discrete bits of information – learning over here, benefits over there – to a system of engagement enabling individual and organizational growth, productivity and results. To highlight how using technology as a system of engagement can empower a workforce and benefit an industry, Brandon Hall Group’s Daria Friedman and engagement expert Kevin Sheridan discussed case studies from the Restaurant and Food Services industry and included recent research findings from Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Technology Trends, Employee Value Proposition, and Employee Engagement surveys.

Research-based Blog

Your Employees are Engaged, but Are They Activated?

A lot of the research we conduct at Brandon Hall Group has been pointing to a convergence of focusing on people. Whether it’s companies focusing on improving the customer experience, creating more learner-focused learning, or developing better candidate experiences, there is an increasing focus on the experience people have when interacting with the organization. At SilkRoad’s Connections 2016 user conference in Chandler, Ariz., this trend was on full display. To read the complete blog by Principal Learning Analyst David Wentworth, please click here.
