Research Summary: Talent Acquisition Technology 2016

This report summarizes the top five findings from Brandon Hall Group’s 2016 Talent Acquisition Technology Study. Onboarding, social tools, and predictive analytics are the most sought-after technologies. The research also shows a low maturity level for talent acquisition technology, with most organizations giving low satisfaction scores to tech solutions and most lacking a well-defined strategy for their use of TA technology to drive their TA programs.

This KnowledgeGraphic illustrates the disparity between the talent sourcing technologies that organizations find important and the satisfaction they have with their current solutions. The key takeaway here is that the highest average rating for any sourcing solution is “somewhat satisfied.” No solution is rated “satisfied” or “very satisfied,” which shows the improvement in functionality that organizations seek. The data comes from the 2016 Brandon Hall Group Talent Acquisition Technology Study, concluded in April 2016.

ServiceRocket’s Learndot product is a learning management system designed specifically to enable fast-growing software companies to develop, sell, and deliver training programs to customers all over the world. Zooming’ to Success in the Modern World of HR

In Miami Beach last week, Principal Workforce Management Analyst Cliff Stevenson attended the Wisdom 2016 conference, presented by PeopleFluent. A highlight was the keynote by John Sculley (former CEO of Apple). In Sculley’s book Moonshot, zooming is explained as taking a very broad view across industries, products, and disciplines, which can allow you to borrow concepts and ideas. It occurred to Stevenson that this is what HR has been doing for greater part of two decades, and this concept of zooming is really an intrinsic part of HR in 2016 and beyond. Mike held leadership and executive positions for the majority of his career, at which he was responsible for steering sales and marketing teams to drive results and profitability. His background includes more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, management, and operations in the research, consulting, software and technology industries. Mike has extensive experience in sales, marketing and management having worked for several early high-growth emerging businesses and has implemented technology systems to support various critical sales, finance, marketing and client service functions. He is especially skilled in organizing the sales and service strategy to fully support a company's growth strategy. The concept of growth was an absolute to Mike and a motivator in starting AC Growth, in order to help organizations achieve research driven results. Most recently, Mike was the VP and General Manager of Field Operations at Bersin & Associates, a global analyst and consulting services firm focused on all areas of enterprise learning, talent management and talent acquisition. Tasked with leading the company's global expansion, Mike led all sales operations worldwide.
