logo[1]St. Louis (September 19, 2013) – BizLibrary released its mobile app today for tablets and phones, allowing access to nearly 4,000 video training courses in iOS and Android.

“We are all very excited to release the BizLibrary mobile app into the marketplace,” said President and CEO Dean Pichee. “Just like our desktop platform, our mobile app makes accessing thousands of online employee training courses easy. It features a clean, intuitive interface that will make employee training a true anyplace anytime experience for our clients.”

The BizLibrary mobile app is available for both smart phones and tablets, is now a standard feature of BizLibrary’s core solution and offering, so it is free to all current customers.

“We’ve decided that mobile access is important. More and more employees already use their own devices at work to access work-related information,” said Dean Pichee, President and CEO. “It just seems logical to us to make accessing our learning content as easy as possible for our clients, so the app is now simply a standard feature of all of our solutions. With the BizLibrary now including nearly 4,000 online employee training and performance support videos, our clients truly have the easiest and most convenient access to the most comprehensive collection of business training videos on the market.”

This free mobile app is geared towards BizLibrary’s content platform, placing the delivery of learning content to employees at the forefront. The mobile app can be downloaded directly from the Apple App Store. It’s also available at the Android store.

With the mobile app, users will be able to view nearly 4,000 video courses and download supplemental materials. This includes training and performance support documents like PDF files, service manuals and program guides.

“A feature of the mobile app that really excites us is the way our clients’ employees can personalize their learning experience,” said Pichee. “After they download the app, each person will be prompted to build their profile which will include things like the general job role and training topics that interest them.”

“After they’ve set up their preferences, the app will provide course recommendations, much like music or movie sites do based upon user preferences. Users can search the comprehensive library, and see what training courses are due, and after completing a course, employees can also generate and download completion certificates.”

The release of the mobile app was announced during BizLibrary’s annual employee training conference, ALIGN. This conference brings together learning professionals from various industries to discuss training trends and developments. Events include keynote presentations, breakout sessions, a baseball game, networking event, and much more.
