TACOMA, WA – December 11, 2019 – Industrial staffing giant PeopleReady took home a coveted Brandon Hall Group silver award for Excellence in Technology for the category of Best Advance in Unique HR or Workforce Management Technology. PeopleReady won for its game-changing JobStack platform that fills a job every 9 seconds.

With JobStack, companies can place orders for on-demand or temporary talent from a smartphone or desktop 24/7 and see responses from qualified local workers in real time. They can instantly select workers, confirm hours, rate their performance, and invite favorite workers back. Upon completing PeopleReady’s onboarding process, workers can view assignments that are tailored to their skills and desired location and hours on JobStack. Workers are paid quickly and can update their profiles for more job options as they gain new skills and experience.

JobStack has filled approximately 6 million shifts since its inception. Nearly 20,000 clients and nearly 90 percent of PeopleReady’s associates use JobStack, which is supported by a vast network of 600+ local PeopleReady branches. See the JobStack Customer App and Worker App for more information.

“JobStack is a breakthrough technology that enables companies to connect with on-demand talent anytime, anywhere,” said Patrick Beharelle, CEO of PeopleReady’s parent company TrueBlue. “Last-minute labor needs can be met almost instantly, which is a big win for companies. JobStack is creating a lot of value in a market where gig employment continues to expand, and we are excited to be recognized by Brandon Hall Group for this innovation.”

“Winners of Excellence in Technology Awards are at the forefront of technology innovation. Our program evaluates not just the solution itself, but the benefit to the human capital management function, the business and the customer. That is the ultimate differentiator – whether the technology has a positive business impact. Technology Award winners pass that test with flying colors,” said Rachel Cooke, Chief Operating Officer of Brandon Hall Group and head of the awards program.

“An Excellence Award also validates the vision of the technology development team, the wisdom of the company’s investment in the solution, and the value the technology brings to the end-user,” said Mike Cooke, Chief Executive Officer of Brandon Hall Group.

A panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, and Brandon Hall Group senior analysts and executives evaluated the entries based upon the following criteria:

  • Product: What was the product’s breakthrough innovation?
  • Unique differentiators: What makes the product unique and how does it differ from any competing products?
  • Value proposition: What problem does the product solve and/or what need does this product address?
  • Measurable results: What are the benefits customers can expect to experience as a result of using this product?
