This session explores the benefits of sponsorship, coaching and mentorship and how current leaders and others can become — and remain — sponsors, coaches and mentors, and facilitate programs in their organizations.

We will explore research and success stories to deliver a roadmap of the most effective recruitment, development and retention strategies for each generation.


4:15-4:30pm Break


This session will examine pertinent issues, including the #metoo movement and unconscious bias. We’ll also provide you with a tool to assess your organization’s culture, what it means for women leaders and how to navigate and impact the culture to build a better way forward.

How do you acquire the foundational management and leadership skills to prepare you for that next-level leader role? Many organizations are just starting to embrace training for these skills, including emotional intelligence. Explore the foundational skills critical for leadership success.

This session will gather insights from research and organizations with Excellence Award-winning inclusion, and women in leadership initiatives.


12:30-1:30pm Lunch


Advancing gender equity in technology leadership is a complex endeavour with many possible solutions and potential pitfalls. Almost all organizations have women working in technical roles. This session will provide practical and actionable insight from our research and executives.


2:45-3:00pm Break


Inclusion means everyone — all women and men of different races, religions, sexual orientations and political views – believes they are valued for their contributions to the organization. It is a daunting task, abut we can share experiences in small discussion groups and get insights and leading practices that we can put into practice back home.

The summit concludes with an opportunity to reflect on the past two days and the tools you have to move forward — for yourself and your organization.
